Fiesta Americana Vacation Club protección de datos

This is How we Protect Your FAVC Membership Information

Fiesta Americana Vacation Club cares about your security; that is why we have personal data protection measures so you can enjoy all the benefits of your membership with peace of mind.

If at any time you receive a call or email offering you benefits that are included in your membership, that have not been published on our official channels, or that ask you to sell or buy shares, be careful!

These are fraudulent campaigns that aim to obtain your information. Here we share what you need to know to avoid falling for scams.

How we protect your data at Fiesta Americana Vacation Club

We publish information on our official channels

Everything related to your membership, such as our destinations, available hotels and resorts, alliances, and other relevant data, is published in our official channels and in the Members’ Guide that we update and share with you digitally on your membership’s official website, indicating the last update date.

Although we have special discounts on tourist activities, these are offered directly by our authorized Vacation Advisors, and we don’t have external alliances for selling products.

A company that pretends to be an ally of Fiesta Americana Vacation Club is Tours Duck Vacation Club. If you receive a call or email from them, ignore it and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We never request private data

At some point you may receive a call from our Vacation Advisors to provide you with information about your vacation membership, but we will never ask you to share personal data or a copy of your contract to carry out any procedure.

Benefits and obligations are in your contract

Just as we’ll never ask you to give us private information over the phone, we won’t ask you to pay fees or additional amounts either.

All your benefits and payment obligations are stipulated in the contract you signed, and none of our Advisors can ask you for money or confirm any extra gift or benefit.

Remember that the fees included in your membership are Club Fee and Maintenance Fee. There may be additional payments, as long as you have chosen them, such as Vacation Points Conversion, transfer of points to Fiesta Rewards, bookings with RCI, among others.

Stay alert to false information about your membership

Some scammers will try to offer you deals or services that are written in your contract. The most common are:

  • Membership resale
  • Change in the conditions of use
  • Recovery or reimbursement of unused weeks
  • Rentals of weeks by exchange

These aren’t services provided by Fiesta Americana Vacation Club, so we ask you to stay alert and hang up or ignore the email that offers this type of information.

To avoid falling for scams, report suspicious cases; or if you have any questions, we invite you to learn about our official channels:
