Fiesta Americana Vacation Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and as part of the celebration, we're evolving and introducing Edition Points, which will give you even more flexibility when booking your vacation. Learn about them!
What are Edition Points?
Edition Points are a new form of currency added to your membership as an additional benefit to your FAVC points. The best part? You only pay for them when you use them, instead of paying for a yearly maintenance fee, making them a flexible and convenient way to enjoy your membership.
Just like FAVC points, you can use Edition Points to book at Fiesta Americana Vacation Club resorts, the Fiesta Americana family of hotels, Hilton Grand Vacations, and RCI. They can also be used for All Inclusive packages or Wallet Free.
How do they work in my Fiesta Americana Vacation Club membership?
You'll now have the same number of FAVC points as Edition Points. For example, if you currently have 8,000 points available, after this renewal you'll have 4,000 FAVC points and 4,000 Edition Points.
The reservation process won't change: you'll need to be current on your payments and select your travel dates, destination, and type of lodging before booking with a Vacation Advisor or through the website.
Important! Remember that you'll need to pay the usage fee for your Edition Points at the time of booking. You'll also be able to advance or deposit your Edition Points.
What benefits do Edition Points offer me as FAVC member?
The new Edition Points from Fiesta Americana Vacation Club are here to offer you more flexibility when using your points and when paying your membership annual fees.
1. Flexibility with your points
- You'll always have the same number of FAVC points as Edition Points.
- They follow the same rules and benefits as your FAVC points.
2. Savings on maintenance costs
- You only pay half of the mandatory maintenance fee: just what corresponds to your FAVC points.
- Edition Points don’t have maintenance fees, only a usage fee, which you pay only when you use them. This helps you optimize costs!
3. Clear, simple usage rules
- Immediate availability: They’re added as soon as you pay your annual fees.
- Annual validity: They’re valid for one year, but you can adapt them to your
needs:
- If you deposit them, there’s a $99 USD fee. Important: If you’ve already paid the FAVC points deposit fee, there’s no extra charge.
- If you advance them, you’ll need to pay the usage fee for the points you move forward.
- If you don’t use or deposit them during the year, they expire on December 31 st of the current year.
- You can book with them at Fiesta Americana Travelty hotels until August 1 st of the current year.
4. Long-term duration
- Edition Points are available for the 40 years of your contract.
- They’re easy to manage on the website or directly with your Club.

Queremos recordarte que las especificaciones sobre el uso de los Edition Points están detalladas en el anexo de tu contrato, o bien, puedes consultar tu guía de socios para mayor información. La membresía FAVC 25th Edition tiene la ventaja de que solo pagues el mantenimiento de la mitad de tus puntos totales, es decir, tus puntos FAVC, mientras que la otra mitad, tus Edition Points, no requiere mantenimiento, sino una cuota de uso. Esto te permite una mejor administración, ya que, si no los utilizas, no tienes que cubrir ningún costo adicional.
con los puntos edition points puedo reservar en cualquier fecha en los hoteles posadas?

Los Edition Points tienen las mismas fechas de uso que tus puntos FAVC; por lo que tienes hasta el 1ero de agosto para reservar en hoteles Posadas y convertirlos en puntos de Aeroméxico o Fiesta Rewards, sin embargo puedes reservar o usarlos en Wallet Free en tus Resorts FAVC todo el año. Es importante considerar que las fechas más populares pueden requerir una planificación anticipada. Si estás pensando en viajar en temporada alta, reserva lo antes posible para asegurarte de que haya espacio disponible.
Como cambian las cosas, cuando adquiri este beneficio me dijeron que podia reservar en hoteles de fiesta americana todo el año y lamentablemente cuando los quise usar no pude hacer una recervación Para Fiesta americana de Oaxaca por lo que tuve que reservar en oro hotel. Pero en fin pierdo mas del 50% de los puntos adquiridos en este año.
