What are FAVC Experiences?
They’re exclusive events for Fiesta Americana Vacation Club members, focused on gastronomy, culture, and art so you can have memorable experiences, meet renowned figures, and tour some of Mexico City’s most emblematic sites.
They’re also a good opportunity to connect with other members and share an unforgettable experience.
We organize different events to surprise you each time, from excursions to Mexico City’s gastronomic gems to dinners or tastings of wines and desserts that will delight your palate.
Experts in the field – such as renowned chefs and sommeliers – as well as specialized guides usually accompany these activities so you can enjoy an interactive experience at all times.
Some FAVC Experiences we have carried out include:
Christmas with sweet-wine tasting
Taking advantage of the holiday spirit, we invited our members to a sweet-wine tasting with sommelier Sandra Fernández, the only Mexican to have obtained the Certified Wine Professional from the Culinary Institute of America, and the Certified Specialist in Wine and Certified Wine Educator from the Society of Wine Educators in the United States.
The secrets of ramen
Together with Chef Eduardo Nakatani, an expert in oriental gastronomy, we delved into the world of ramen, one of the most famous dishes of Japanese cuisine.
Pasillo de humo
Oaxacan gastronomy is rich in its variety of flavors, aromas, and textures, so we could not pass up the chance to invite Fiesta Americana Vacation Club members to learn more about the history of this iconic Mexican cuisine.
Accompanied by Chef Alam Mendez, our guests began the experience with a traditional hot chocolate and learned first-hand the process behind the preparation of the most representative dishes, from selecting ingredients to presentation at the table.

En la última experiencia Van Gogh me informaron que por no comprar más puntos, ya no seríamos invitados a este tipo de eventos. Tampoco puedo reservar en los hoteles que quiero cuando quiero, siendo así, la membresía ha perdido valor y prefiero invertir en otro concepto o ramo que suba su valor.
